Evidence sources and provenance

Moldmap separates what was reported from what can be guaranteed. Public pages may show high-level evidence with provenance labels. Advanced comparisons remain part of Premium. No property can be guaranteed mold-free.

  • Member-reported

Published community reviews and member answers. These are personal observations and are not laboratory measurements or Moldmap certifications.

  • Property-provided

Approved disclosures from an owner or verified representative. They reflect what the property stated, not an independent inspection by Moldmap.

  • Listing-observed

Details visible on a public listing or listing materials when Moldmap records them as an observation. Listing language can change.

  • Documented online source

Publicly documented sources linked to a specific environmental factor claim. Sources should be checked for currency before relying on them.

  • Moldmap model / data

Model scores and mapped environmental datasets. Models have inputs, limitations, and update cadences. They are not medical diagnoses and do not mean a property is mold-free or healthy.

  • Editorial explanation

Educational copy that explains how Moldmap evaluates signals. Editorial explanation is not evidence about a specific property.
