Moldy Hotel!

I checked into the Hilton Homewood Suites on Thursday March 20, 2025 around 5pm. I was staying with a friend who was there for work. I specifically asked for a non water damaged room and we were placed on the 3rd floor. Waiting for the elevator on the first floor made me nervous, there was musty smell and a urine smell. 3rd floor hallways smelled fine. We saw no visible signs of water damage, nor smelled anything. I was concerned because a few of the reviews I read were sketchy and the property was 15 yrs old. That night I had massive neurological tics all night long and barely slept a wink! It was so bad, my friend could not sleep in the same bed with me. I woke in the morning feeling groggy and had a massive sinus headache. I went out to the pool for a couple hrs that day, didn't really help. Spent about 4-5 hrs out of that room that evening and actually felt pretty decent. Similar issues the second night. I woke at 5 am and my body told me it wanted clean fresh air, so I went for a walk and figured it out. After the 2-3rd shower, the wall between the bathroom shower and the closet started to smell off. The tub drain was slow, I reported the problems when I left the property Sat morning March 22, 2025. Within 90 min of me leaving that property, the massive sinus headache was gone. I slept well when I got to my clean apt that night. I had to quarantine everything in the garage until I could wash/fog everything including my car which I had to place my belongings in to drive home from Palm Desert. That place needs to be gutted to the studs and renovated!
