Our mission at Moldmap is to help create a world where clean, healthy indoor air is the norm, not the exception.

By creating the largest crowdsourced database of indoor air quality in the world, we can empower people to make better decisions about the air they breathe, and illuminate the importance of indoor air quality to both property owners and policymakers.

Are you passionate about making information on indoor air quality accessible to all?

Join the Moldmap Community Facebook group, where you'll have early access to Moldmap and the opportunity to provide input and ideas to help improve the app!

Moldmap is a website and app being developed that will allow users to quickly find places that are free of mold, fragrances, VOCs, and other airborne substances and toxins that are especially of concern to people with environmental sensitivities, chronic illness, allergies, or who are just health conscious about the air they breathe.

Once we launch Moldmap, the site will allow users to review buildings for all of the different aspects that are key to healthy indoor air. Moldmap will look and feel similar to travel review sites, but be specifically tailored to the needs and concerns of people concerned about the air they breathe. We will also have an interactive map that will eventually also show information such as outdoor air polution, allergens, and more.

Anyone concerned about the air they breathe can benefit from Moldmap! Our primary user base is made up of individuals who are sensitive to mold, fragrances, VOCs, chemical cleaners, bacterial endotoxins, and electromagnetic radiation. We expect that as more is learned about the impact these indoor pollutants can have on our health, concern about this issue will steadily become more mainstream.

Yes! Moldmap is free to use. In the future, we may add a premium paid version of the Moldmap app that provides additional features on top of the core Moldmap functionality for those who wish to use it.

Moldmap development is currently self-funded by Justin Carlson, owner of Invivus Technologies, and through individual contributors like yourself who believe in the mission of Moldmap in providing the information needed to seek out healthy air, and changing the status quo on indoor air quality.

Moldmap is a for-profit entity with a community-driven mission to improve indoor air quality and provide accessible information about safe environments for everyone. While we aim to eventually generate revenue through our services, achieving the critical mass of users and comprehensive data necessary to effectively serve our community requires substantial upfront resources.
